The Instagram account @xxmove.mentxx was born out of my History of the Avant-Garde class. As we discussed different avant-garde movements and artists throughout history, I interpreted their styles to imagine how they might work with today’s technology. Instagram became a platform for my ongoing research. Through this practice, I’ve picked up on a few useful apps to enhance the social media platform experience—Stop Motion, Layout, Instagrids, Rotate & Flip,
and Boomerang.
