Indian Taj Cuisine: Brand Identity

Indian Taj Cuisine opened in 2016 in French Camp, Stockton, CA. The client described their business as traditional Indian cuisine, welcoming customers as friends. The word “taj” means “crown”, referencing the brand’s commitment to providing customers with a royal treatment. This led to the inclusion of a crown-like pattern in the logo. I chose Arno Pro as the typeface because the serifs allude to grounded-ness and a sense of tradition.
